World War Toons is in Open Beta now on PS4 and PSVR, with the client available to download now via the Playstation Store. Sure, it may not have the high fidelity visuals of CoD or Battlefield, but it’s certainly a lot of fun! Players have a choice of 16 different troopers, four different character classes (officer, heavy, soldier and sniper) and 12 different tanks to pilot across four different game modes and four unique maps. World War Toons eschews realism for colourful cartoony visuals and chaotic slapstick combat, with grand pianos dropping from the sky, giant walking bombs and flying tanks. World War Toons is an over the top multiplayer shooter designed for VR and standard screens, that delivers one of the most anarchic and downright wacky takes on WWII combat you’ll ever come across.
